How many miles are you covering in a day?

How did the bikes do on fuel?

more posing...

Getting lost and ending up on dead end trails was a theme. Although I didn't have a mount for the GPS. I still brought it with me and whipped it out every-so-often.

We decided to see if there was any carnivorous wildlife in these forests, so we packed some bacon into Justin's backpack while he was in the bathroom during breakfast. We kept mentioning smelling bacon but he never found it.

Our last trail in typical fashion just disappeared and we ended up riding through these freaking bushes.

Do you see someone back there?

Great report, thanks for sharing! Seems like a really nice area to ride D/S bikes... How's the X doing so far?

thanks!

the X is doing well. I have about 3K miles on it and not one hiccup. I dropped it a couple of times and it doesn't show any marks or symptoms. The bike has been bulletproof.

What I am noticing is that the front end is a bit harsh. I think I need to soften up the front a bit.

Kutch

I don't recall for this trip, but last week I did some of the same trails on my own and covered 70 miles and used 1.2 gallons.

Hey Tom, great to see you in action again.

I enjoy your report and keep it coming.

Hopefully we can put together another ride.
