Your choice.

Little help please on these bolt measurements, just wondering because 40 mm =1.57 inch and that would be to long. I could be wrong because the metric thing and me never did get along.

Trailace,

If you want the best case scenario.

Measure the OE bolts. (NOTE: flat heads are measured from end to end).

[They used different length bolts from the factory - make sure you keep track of what went where]

Add the thickness of the part (~5mm) to the length of the OEs.

That'd be THE best route.

Parkerizing can be done at home with a stove, a stainless vessel, and the solution. Or any local gunsmith buddy will be able to do it. It's different than paint, it's an electrochemical precipitate that is deposited on the steel.

Fantastic job Kutch.

First I applied some POR-15 to rust proof the gaurds.

Then looking around the garage, I found some red spray paint.

After all was dried, I installed the left.

And then the right.

The few on the Original list that has decided not to go with the guards should have gotten notification that I'll be opening up the secondary list.

So those that wanted in and had to be put on hold...Shoot me a PM.

Kutch
Glad it's working out for everybody!

Next item in the works...
