Everyone....

I just wanted to touch base with everyone who has been asking for these parts...

See....I got this new "J.O.B"....
And honestly its been sucking me dry with hours.
Any extras....? Right,....I've been hard pressed to fit anything in.

I"ve been in contact with another member here on line that may be interested in picking this up for me for the time being....

I'm still waiting to see if this will work out.
As soon as I have an ADVmember set up to do this for the 650X community I'll post up where to send your requests.

sorry sorry Sorry for the delay.!

But I've got to dig in with the new place for awhile...

source for the hard parts

Is anyone supplying these hard parts now? Haven't seen any updates and needed some protection.

Touratech sells a hard part for the right side, to protect the side stand mount and lower frame, but Kutch went a step ahead and made one for the left side too.

Laugh Open Source Time - 2009 ADV stimulus package...!

To all.

I just want to say thanks again for all the requests for the parts. I would have never thought that there would be such a demand...

I also have to apologize for not being able to fill the demand due to being constantly on the go with the new job.

So what I'm going to do...
MTDewX8 was the last to request a set.
In the sorry response I gave to him I stated that I've tried unsuccessfully to find someone to pick up where I've left off and provide for the community.

He stated that he might be able to get someone with the equipment to do it....

All of a sudden it hit me...
Forget making them and selling and shipping etc....

Just design the stuff and send the program out to anyone that wants it.

You find a local shop to cut them out.

So to anyone that wants the layout for the guards, ask.

Its now open source time...

If you like that - and it saves you some $$...Contribute to this site.
(Its helped me in the past...!)

My Guard Designs are now open to the community.
Enjoy and contribute to the site.

files

Thanks Kutch,

I'd love to have the file. I am picking up a new challenge next week and would love to get these parts. I can find someone here in town to cut them so the file would be awesome.

OK, as for "Hard Parts" availablity I will be getting 10 made. but I can't see them any more than $25-30 (maybe) for a set but I will let you know for sure once there made so I know how much I have into them. I will only send them out in sets so I dont end up with odd peices. and of course bare metal.

I have two the list so far and will be getting them done after I round up some steal. so hopefully next week they will be done.

PM me if you want a set and I will try to keep the list current so when I am out i am out. I can make more later. but I will start with one batch of 10.

if any body has a lead on bolts let me know. I can't seem to find the 35mm onces suggested by Kutch in previous posts. I have the 40mm ones on order.

Edit. I am going with Priority mail cause I can use there box that comes with it. and to ship to NC it was $4.95 so anything conus will be around $5 to ship. as for the down under request PM me your address so I can give you a better Idea of price.

also there are 5 left on my list of 10 that Im get getting made. dont worry there can be a around two if there is a need.
