Yes, and all with such high K's!! Makes my measly 30 000 look like a walk in the park. Thanks for featuring me in the opening post Tag. I'll be sure to get a few more pics and specs up shortly.

Hey while I think of it.... do the 08KLR's need to do the doo? Or has the doo been dooed by the factory?

Dan

Yes you need to do the Doooooooo,
The spring is too short I just did mine last month, replaced the spring and the adjuster.....you might as well do the adjuster at the same time as the spring as the genuine adjuster is not as well made as the aftermarket replacement.
also grease your swing arm bearings and steering head bearings.
Fit HID lighting kit, 0.30" shim under the carburettor needle and a 150 main jet.
Apart from that the 08 KLR is a nice bike.
cheers
Rob

hey ray

just buy ,do it and enjoy it ,it 's hardly stripping it ,lets just say its a bit like the pimple on your girlfriends arse ,could be fine, but maybe it might turn in a melonoma but you can solve both those problems, this is the sort of fun you can have on a klr

Same here, I have no plains to do the doo either. HID's would be nice but the stock lights are better than most as is, The only thing you really Need to do is de-restrict it

Hi,
I live in Broadford, Victoria. My A18 has 30,000 Km on it and I had the doohickey replaced at purchase.

Mine looking down to Jamieson, Vic

The three above I took at Prudhoe Bay, Alaska about 10pm in June 2006. The bloke in the last shot had finished his ride up from Ushuaia in Argentina.
