Thanks!

Wax,
OK, now I'm not only sad for not going, I'm sad the ride report is done :(
Sorry I couldn't make it, daughter's graduation took precedent.

Will my ride be able to keep up with you guys?

awesome

Epic ride report. Thanks for taking the time. Gotta get out that way but I'm vacation poor this year

Wachs: Is that the 25l Acerbis (6.6g) on your EXC? I've got a 3g Clarke on my 450 but thats not gonna cut it out there. Need to get something larger.

Yes - that tank is huge. All you need is 5 gal, used to have one on my RXC 620 and it was plenty. This thing is weird but you get used to it.

Oh there's still rubber on it. Just no square edges for traction. I would say it's got close to 2k miles on it now.

This was a great trip. Thanks for the invite Dave, Todd, Bacon and Jason. I am not much at recalling the events. I truly enjoyed the ride. What a wonderful and magic place. Some of my pics.

This is Jason (stihlrig)

Todd spoted the Dam, we stopped for a quick looksee. It is truly amazing what you find in the middle of nowhere. This part of the state is a "Time Forgotten"

The Giant Loop Guys. Todd Dave and Bacon.
I left the guys and had 90 miles or so to back track to the basecamp. I stopped to call the spousal unit and right in front of me.

I have a saying. The good Lord looks after idiots and fools, so I have double coverage. I unloaded my bike when I got home and found this. See he was looking after me. HE HE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks again guys for putting up with me.

Who was putting up with who? !

Thanks so much for the righteous base camp out there Pat - You're always on the list bud! Can you imagine how hot is it out there now? I'm stickin' close to the pond until it rains again.

Nice nail in the tire! and good ride shots too btw.

That was one hell of a cool ride. I'd love to do that. Do you have any GPS routes? PM me if you do.
