I hit bit of of problem with my 02 curvy. When the bike warms up to running temperature (after 10km or so) i will lose my neutral light? I still have neutral gear but the light wont come on, which means that i cant put the side stand down because engine cuts out (thinking that is still in the gear). I will be pulling out neutral sensor soon but im just checking if anyone else had the same problem with their SV.

I just recently took a 1600 mile trip up trough Canada on my SVs. I really even enjoy the bike more now.. I find it a great travel bike, more comfortable than I expected.. My longest day was 550miles and if I had a better seat I could have done more..!!
MY Corbin is on the way! greg

i am thinking of a sargent seat for my naked bike. so tempting, as I spend a lot of time in the saddle (i'm averaging 5000kms a month right now, which is pretty good right?)

+1 on the Sargent.
Just got back from a 1700 mile 3 day trip. Would have been intolerable without it! I'll bet at least one other person knows Exactly where this pic was taken.

To all the SV650 riders I got a question for ya'll. I am thinking of buying a SV650 for myself and I was wonder. With the sport models are suspension mod a must to keep the bike from diving on hard breaking?

If the front end is too soft, you need to lose some weight because I am not small and this bike has pretty stiff springs, consider something else. Alternative solution is to make PVC spacers for the fork springs, low tech but it does work.

I will keep in mind the PVC spacer. My old bandit use to dive on hard braking
