I see we have a bit of interest so better get my A into gear. Might flag Wiatangi weekend as the friday is the holiday and most people like to go to the Vincent that weekend . Cheers Toddy

I see there is a Horizons Unlimited meeting planned for Wainui (Chch) 20-22 Feb, if we had an ADV rally the weekend before or after that, some of us Northeners might be able to come down & take in both without blowing the holiday budget too much.

That sounds like a good weekend 1 weekend after the Horizons meet. I went to one of there meets in N.C. in USA when over there. I will check things out for that weekend and report back.

Jeez Toddy, ya lounge must be getting a bit crowded now!

She's all good up here, got in plenty of riding over the summer & a week around the top 1/2 of the south in March. The weather has been pretty average up here but we're tough & we just go riding anyway

Planning to ship the bikes over to Oz for a month next year so hopefully we can fit in some SI touring & socialising too.

I checked out the venue today, it sleeps 20 people , toilets, showers , kitchen, cost $20pp or $200 for group, only problem weekends free are 19 20 Dec08 3-4 April 09 17-18 April 09 Great location 4
