Does anyone have a route for hitting all the interest points on Mono Lake ? I intend to make heavy use of my camera on this trip (battery permitting). I want to get there just don't know when, Friday afternoon if I'm not too tired after riding in from LA, or Sat morning before 2pm when we can enter Devils Postpile.

I'll be riding a supermoto so fire roads are fine but no single track or gnarly stuff.

As far as redrock canyon jake, as i remember its a very short trek through there. Hoping for ALL if not most single track for riding, the dirt road thing gets boring pretty quickly, JMO.

RIDE ON!!!!!!!!

Look for the biggest gathering of orange KTM950s and you won't miss it. You'll also see a rider on a DR650 nearby

We thinking about going south from the camp via Casa Diablo Mine Rd to Fish Slough Rd Bishop about 40 miles (it is off road miles and it will take 2-3 hr if we don’t get lost) ..So I don’t think we can make it by 9 to Bishop… I’ll PM you my cell call me tomorrow afternoon and we can try to work some kind of a solution..

This is starting to look like a job for my p/u and 450. I was coming down on a 07 990S. Maybe I'll do the 16/45 gearing and truck it down. I've got lights I could throw on the 450 but it still has the stock 1.8 fuel tank(06 yz-450).

I don't want to be on "THE RICELESS PAGE".

if you do the 990 it will be on the Riceless page
the 450 will be the best for this... i do it on CRF450X with 2.4 and i have 2 MSR's (1/2 gl total) with me... the XR has big tank and so the 2 DRZs..

Crap! Push the 450 or pick up the 990. Bring cameras.
