Im keen, sounds like a plan. Some good stuff here, mainly fire trails with some distance on road required.. Havent been on much of a ride yet on this bike, just short blasts on local tracks.
I see some nice places in my work travels, and have a loop in mind I want to try out soon.

Great idea - might have to be an overnight option for me, as a long morning ride down through Braidwood will soon be getting a bit extreme ...

Could meet up and ride from somewhere near Narooma / Cobargo perhaps ... ?

Next 3 weeks or so will be tricky for me with work travel, but after that ...

Be interested in what work you are doing and costs as well as how many KMs done as I am planning on keeping mine "a long time" and will face a rebuild at some stage.

Suspect Seth's ride gets a slightly harder life than some other 690s...

There are some good numbers there! I have been kicking tyres for a long time and was shying away from orange due to the 'alleged' reliability issues. But now I'm being pulled back...

numerous organized trail rides
2 Paris to Dacre rides (Canada 800km in one day)
Many days of trail riding.

The bike gets used. but maintained too.

Yeh Seth I have seen your exploits and figured the bike had a tough life, did you find anything else worn/bust/broken in the engine because with the merciless racing just a headgasket is a pretty good result. If not what else has let you down along the way.
