The old model seats fit, the difference is the 12's on have an extra rubber foot at the forward third of the seat on each side.

I don't know if the mounts have changed at all over the years, but it's to go on a 2012 model 690 ...

Please PM if you have something that would suit ...

Thanks - I thought I recalled some difference.

Again, if anyone has a seat pan or complete seat that they would like to sell ...

690 with Evo2 Tanks fitted

Did a ride on the weekend and the following happened .

Stopped at servo and filled all 3 tanks headed down the hwy slabbing it on the black top went up some mt range and I could smell petrol looked down and the Evo 2 tanks were pissing fuel out of the caps , breathers what ever so with my crotch covered in fuel ( That is another story ) I pulled over to investigate opened the rear tank first couldn't see fuel.
All good opened the two caps on the evo2 tanks and fuel ran out so proceeded to get tool kit so I could drop some fuel out by this time the fuel in the two front tanks had dropped down to about 2'' from the top .

My 690 is a 12 model and I've had to repair the wires to the ambiant air temp sensor about 3 times on the same weekends ride the FI light would come on whilst on the dirt but would go of on the Bitumen.

Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated

Fuel

Same happened to me on my EVO2 and my mate with his EVO1 tanks.
Throw the one way breathers on all Rally raid tanks to the shit house................Let them breathe to atmosphere like the EVO1 tanks do
I found that my main tank would have slight positive pressure and wouldnt let the fuel syphon back from the RR tanks back into the main tank. Actually gets worse when the ambient gets hot, and you shake it up over rougher terrain.

I nearly had a disaster in the middle of the Simpson a month ago as my left tank over pressurised to the point where I couldnt change gears (couldnt actullay reach the gear shift as the tank was blown up so big) and when I looked down, the tank was bent at about 30 degrees and nearly twice its normal size. I nealry pooed my pants and pulled over to see WTF was going on. When I released the fuel cap fuel farkin 3 litres went all over me and the bike. Not good when its 37 degrees in the shade. Anyway, after I took all the one way vent off and made our own breather hoses my bike ran fine for the rest of the trip.

My mates EVO1 tanks had the same trouble on this trip, but this was the first problem in 6000kms with RR tanks. We pulled of his main tank fuel cap and support from the main tank and drilled out the little ball which is KTM's one way valve set up. Worked fine after that.

Dont have an answer for the ambient temp issues, sorry
Andrew

Any of you guys have the 'THAD' and 'APAD' voltages for the 2011 model ?
I want to check out my throttle position sensor settings but I only have the Repair Manual for 2008 and can't find a 2011 Repair Manual.

There are differences in throttle bodies and sensors between the following year groups:
2008 - 2010
2011
2012 - 2013
That's why I need 2011 figures or 2011 Repair Manual.

Everything on all the TuneECU threads on ADV/supermotojunkie/KTM UK and Superduke are all THAD,APAD figures for 2008-2010, no-one appears to have come up with the 2011 figures yet. I have asked all the TuneECU gurus, might have to ask Dalby.

OK finally popped my TuneECU Cherry, CJDesigns cable arrived and loaded the drivers no hassle.
Hooked up to the bike and everything worked as advertised, outstanding program love it.
Read and saved current maps and sure enough they were wrong, these were loaded from delivery as I bought the bike already mapped for my FMF Apex Pipe.
FI map was Akra map KM765EU11B0231FIMap.hex
EP map was EVO1 map KM765EU11B0232EPMap.hex
Also had two error codes:
P0113 Inlet Air Temp sensor open or short circuit
P0335 Crankshaft Sensor Circuit Malfunction
I reset the codes so I can now monitor any fresh ones.

Loaded the EVO1 mapset and disabled SAI and O2 as they are both removed, throttle cal and 15min run done.
It rides cleanly and pulls harder so very happy with the result.
Now to check out the TPS and all my sensors.

For those a little bit daunted by the whole plugging the laptop into the bike thing then don't be as this thing is a real benefit. Here are a couple of screenshots of the diagnostics and tests pages and considering my 2011 doesn't even have a rev counter this is an absolute bonus to see whats going on and that sensors are reading and working correctly, just watching the fan kick in at the correct temp is nice to know.

This is the diagnostics page after running for 10 mins.

And this is the test page where you can function various items.

Currently working on an Idiots guide to help people out if they are totally foxed by the whole EFI thing, I'm just learning so when I say idiots guide I mean written by an idiot in idiots terms.
