HP2 Mirrors
I chose the Lolly Pop style mirrors for my HP2. I have been crashing with confidence ever since. Thanks Henri

This is the first GS HP2 picture I have seen. Thanks.... Now Cory, be nice to that fine HP2 motorcycle..... Are you able to lift that up by yourself ? hb7 screwed with this post 01-23-2009 at 10:02 PM |

One more for the HP2
Yeah it was icy and i was slipping around like the Ice Capades but i got her up. Henri here is a closer shot of the mirrors.
The HP2 has 10mm mirrors that slip in an adaptor. Your mirrors are threaded but fit just fine!

Cory did you try to thread the mirrors directly ?
Do you need to retain the pincer mount....? I don't think so... hb7 screwed with this post 01-25-2009 at 08:36 PM |

I'm wondering the same -- do you need other parts to mount them, or do they fit right into the holes for the stock mirrors? Those look really good. Are they the 280 mm length? |

Thank you...I can't afford to advertise, but I can ship out fast.
Spread the word...these mirrors are good. I'll post a picture of the hard working Moto-science road warrior mule with the 280mm Folding mirrors... |

clampage
...I'm looking for a better bar mount and came across these.
![]() The Henri style clamps can score your bars and make a weak point. Not sure how they work yet. Any other sources?

Folding mirrors
Just FYI people
I had a set of these and they are not exactly sturdy. If you are doing any serious off road work these mirrors will shear off at the base as mine did with only minimal stress. |

Before you start indiscriminately slagging the product...what were the
conditions ? Were the mounts are installed without over tightening the mount? I suggest tighten judiciously and use blue loctite. I brought these mirrors in because the KTM dealer is too much and they don't offer the 280mm military style. I have delivered some ~300 of these mirrors with 10mmx1.25mm mounts and can report there was only one mirror where the mount was clearly defective. I call that a .003% failure rate. hb7 screwed with this post 01-27-2009 at 09:57 PM |

Eventually everything will score the bars....a fact of motorcycling life.
Have a look at the sand blast damage on your forks....too. Quote:

retraction
...my bad Henri, I thought I was responding to my own thread here...
Not right to slag your product in the vendor section. The mirrors are worth the price, but I do feel the bar brackets...well there I go again...

The alu bars definitely get marked no matter what...
I'll exchange the bar clamps for the 10mmx1.25mm mounts for anyone. If you promise you'll never drop the bike ever ever again.... Don't worry, Ride happy .... hb7 screwed with this post 01-30-2009 at 11:25 AM |
