there are 2 ways you could get there.

here's my preferred route coming from jay's shell station in la canada.

go up on angeles crest, left on angeles forest hw, pass hidden springs, right on upper big t, left on lynx. there's a sign on the road before you get to lynx.

if you reached angeles crest, it means you passed it.

enjoy the ride.

If I go up on Angeles crest then down angeles forest then take those other turns, how could I pass angeles crest again?

Upper Big Tujunga Rd runs fron Angeles Crest to Angeles Forest Hwy, you can get it from either one.......

FULL Ride Report FULL MOON Ride June 5 2009

great ride last nite.
i am beat and now i get to go to work!

met up with the crew right after getting off of work up at the bottom of Lynx.

road up behind this guy

oh yeah, it was a bit chilly

these guys were waiting at the bottom of Lynx

FMFpunk and WzlTech what are you doing to yourself, Marty?

i had a beer situation on my tail bag similar to notmybikemodelname and bouncingbilly. oops.

did i mention this was a KTM 950ADV vs. KLR650 shootout ! !! ! !??! ! ! ! ! !

daytime FULL MOON

comin down the mountain !!!!!

oops. just after we were talking about FMFpunk needing a rear break lever that folds, 5 minutes later he bends it into a ballon animal

me and SITO chillin at Mill Creek

WzlTech

foggy on Pacifico

rode with my lights off the last half of Pacifico just on the moon light

KLR FULL MOON

WzlTech (this guy has a trail named after himself !!!!)

FMFpunk riding rear breakless

Newcombs Ranch

the crew

WzlTech coming outta Chilao offshoot

nightriding

FULL squiggly MOON

WzlTech Trail Head

dark RAZR(darth peach) on Aliso Cyn

soon after this i dropped my camera and it broke. the thing was on it's last leg, so time for a new one.

after this we were off to SITOs Trail, but first the HILLCLIMB in the dark

FMFpunk did it with his back end swinging from side to side almost going down a few times(as it appeared) but pulled it off.

i finish my last beer and get on the gas, go up and on the corner of the hillclimb the silt swallowed me whole. i went down but it felt like i was jumping into a pillow. soft landing.
picked her up and did it again with no problem. the clarity of the climb is what gets you.

we took 4N 24 up with no stops until the top to put warmer gear on and super moto down SCD and down Angeles Forest Hwy and the Crest .

the temperature change from the top of Pacifico and SCD down to La Canada was HUGE. it actually felt "warm" down in the city.

200 miles on the ODO and in the door just before 2 AM when i thought i would be home by midnite. hahahaha

Wow, I can't believe you got the picts up already. Way to go Razr! You gotta be just a wee bit sleep deprived about now. Thanks for taking all the picts. Nice to see Sito show up too.

It was a cool change riding at night, literally too. When it gets hot again I may have to make that a regular thing. I like seeing the K-rats and other assorted nocturnal critters. Even the Chupacabras.

Ever felt like you were riding with your head in a fog?
