Motorcycle Manufacturers Recalls - Australia
Today I stumbled on the Australian Product Recall's website
where they list all automotive recalls....
Thus far doesn't directly effect our family but may be of interest to some who have a
garage full of bikes (road and offroad)....
A few ones this year - trivial and not so trivial issues.

Possible fault of brake lines

Possible fault of final drive sprocket also engine stalls at idle, which could endanger rider safety. Problem to be fixed by downloading new software to the engine control unit.

Possible fault of Throttle Position Sensor

Date of Recall: 12/02/2008
There is a possibility that the rear carrier may break if a mounted luggage system is installed
Also there is a possibility that the latches securing the saddlebags to the vehicle may break.
