Maine 400
Geode,
Bob leaned on me pretty hard to go, but the VT hills beckoned. I [still] regret not going, but the riding in central VT was splendid, as usual. BFF

Ayuh, Geode, sounds like the devious machinations of Bob C. and Shawn B. made for good fun
all around. Trust me on this, I can ride a hard day, but I am NO GOOD thinking on my feet and strategizing. Congrats on a Maine 400 in the can, and you can always go get 'em again next year. P.S. RPB and Chacifer and BlackFly and I had steaks for dinner that weekend over an open campfire at Allis State Park in Vermont. Not that you'd trade places with us, even for the fine Cabernet Sauvignon that accompanied, I'm sure!

Is it too impolite to ask - what the fuck place did you come in?

![]() Congrats. I am not a rally rider kind of guy. I revel in making the perfect turn and stepping up to the edge of performance. My ADD prevents me from being able to stay focused on things long enough to do well in distance rallys. I can pay attention for one turn and then let it go and pay attention to the next. Don't ask me to focus on something 300 miles down the road. Can't do it. I have a lot of respect for those that can, but it is not my nature. Way to go Glenn! |

Yup ... He sure did ... The GS was worth turning 50 over. Best present I've ever given myself. As hard as I've tried, still can't get Geode to take it out for a ride ... Heck, it's no doubt a good thing. He'd probably never give it back ... |
