MT.Princeton and a bit oSouth Cottonwood

Roomate, (Chad) borrowed my gasgas and i decided i finally wanted to ride the short ride up Mt.Princeton 6 miles up. Doesn"t take you to the summit but, nice views easy ride with nice shelter up there. About 14 cars in parking area, and another 4-5 near the radio towers. Haze from california fires obvious. After the short ride, deciced to trailer over to cottonwood lake area! rode trail 349 to the top! :)

Dinner afterwards in BV at Punkys BBQ, good food but we ate outside as the decor and cleanliness left alot to be desired. Tender ribs, good beans and really good Potato salad. Hope you folks had a great weekend too! :)

Have to try Punkys next time. We were up in Chalk Creek Tues-Thur and had a great time. I can't stay away from the coffee mochas at the expresso cafe or the gelatos next to the sub shop in BV. Wanted to go up Princeton, but the lightning was really awesome when I had the chance.

Trying to capture a splash with new camera

Its faster with less lag time than my old one. This one will even survive water crossings in Sardinia unless they are deeper han 33 feet.!!!! [IMG][/IMG]

Yes, where said author took off leaving his friend to die on Mt Antero, even though no storms hit.

Hey that was up and back. I would have let you show me the way, but you didn't seem to interested. I guess the novelty of climbing a fourteener goes away after living in CO for 30 years.
