Nice! Now you're going to have to ride to KY instead of cage, and take it to the edge.

Nice grab!

Glad I checked in this morning before leaving for work. Had planned on taking the day off and giving this thing some legs but will have to see where it lands next.

How does one take the day off? I haven't figured it out yet...

Just call in sick? Anyone ever call in sick and come in the next day with roadrash and no bike???

My Karma balance is too close to neutral to try that... for now.

But it's 12 miles of quality road.

well, just ran some numbers, the NRV guys are moving it quicker, but have not moved it over 23 miles since Glen Alton

now that 23 miles is per MS Streets & Trips, not as the crow flies

the last move was the shortest in the history of VA tag a whopping 5 miles, if I have the locations correct I may be off a few hundred yards so let's call it 6 miles

I have to go see the Doc today, then I'll change the oil and think about swinging out there tomorrow and grab the damn thing and put a big move on it

Ya'know... your comment was mostly in jest, but there's wisdom in those words. Sometimes I see ironbutt attitude sneaking into ride reports and I have to wonder what the point is. If the scenery is flying by too fast to soak in the sights or if you have to resort to slab just to "get there", then I must be missing something. Maybe I'm getting old. YMMV

Yah, it's nice to be able to brag on ODO rolling over, but for me, it's about enjoying the ride first and foremost.

You retired?

I'm going to try to snag it pretty soon. The weekend is approaching...

anytime in the saddle is good time, back roads, gravel roads, slab, twisty, straight, whatever

I think you're right, but Freak has a point too. I remember thinking that it was isolated in central/northern VA for a long time (I griped about that some on here... ), and they were moving it A LOT farther each time than it has since it's been in the NRV.

Having said that, the game is moving VERY quickly, and we haven't even had a weekend yet. I haven't run the numbers (maybe some help from FREAK here would be nice), but i think the NRV has turned the thing over a bunch of times considering it's only the 4th day since it went to Glen Alton. We haven't even had a weekend yet, and that's when most people have time to find the thing and then carry it a good distance.

Seems like the biggest difference is that when the game was up north, someone would find it one evening, and then take a ride the NEXT evening to post it. Since they had all evening, it made it farther, but the turnover was slower. Just a different attitude to the game, I guess.

Either way, the weekend will be here tomorrow night, and I'm SURE this thing will find its way out of the NRV. Be patient, it could be coming to a recognizable, photogenic location near you!

Wasn't commenting on the tag at all really, just thread drifting, prompted by the comment about 12mi of quality road...

I think it's pretty cool that it's travelling ALL over the state.

And keeping it away from Freak just adds to the entertainment value
