Well, with the 1.4 extra gallons, I think I will be able to get 170 miles. But since my butt usually needs a break after 100 anyway, I don't think it will be an issue. There are gas stations on the way down to West Virginia, right?

Don't tell me I'm getting kicked out of another riding group!

Toecutter and I are talking about our trip to West Virginia next week. The ride on Sunday morning requires no range at all. The total ride will be under 100 miles, but we will be within two blocks of a convenience store and gas station throughout the entire ride. You can bring a small bike. Just bring a siphon hose if you are worrying about running out of gas. There will be a bunch of "tankers" on the ride.

But again, e-mail me if you are interested.

Yup. Aerostich tank panniers. Very nice.

Here's another shot from the ride route:

I'm also hoping for a Terra Monstro to push around a little!

You're welcome. Nice bunch of stealth riders. Pumpkinhead, Lee, Mick, you, Duane, Chris, Gerry, DocRoc....who am I missing? Anyway, here's a shot from the abandoned railroad tracks:

We were able to get some quality time on the dirt between 7:30 and 10:30, with only one drop and no legal encounters.

It was a Hooligan run, though. I was told I was going too fast after the first 5 minutes, and I was told I shouldn't cross illegal fields. Oh well, this was a stealth run!

More photos to follow, after I take the kids to the pool.
