WEC Wales

Any ADVers heading to this event? I am thinking of riding with some mates from Ireland but holding off ferry booking till midweek weather forecast. Any info on biker friendly camping or B+B/hotels in the area much appreciated. There is a list of places to stay on
http://www.wecwales.com/

but a recommendation is worth so much more.

Might even see you there.Blue KTM640Adv with ADV stickers on fuel tank

I'll be there.....

Im going down with to do a trade stand.
Unfortunately our new trailer/shop and my XR650R got stolen on Friday night from my house in Leeds. Consequently we'll have a little marquee and a van selling our Adventure-Spec range of Klim clothing, Guard-It-Technology bashplates, GPR exhausts, Kriega and a load of other new stuff.
If anyone sees or gets offered an '03 US-spec XR650R (reg PL03 JVC) with a 17 litre IMS tank, XR's Only pipe, IMS footpegs, red acerbis multiplo handguards and a UFO Ghibli headlight please let me know!

Very interesting Adventure-spec website Wonky. Hope to visit your stand at some stage, fancy a pair of those Klim pants. Have tried in vain to get a 32mm Motion pro axle wrench with tyre lever for my CRF250x any ideas? I see you do some MP products.

Brian E would like to meet you, fancy doing some rallies/ride outs now I'm edging out of enduros.

Possu, Foolonastrom I was at Ruthin, would be good to see you guys again

I'll PM you guys my mobile # later this evening. I can't arrange a meet up time or place in advance as I'm not sure what the schedule is with BMW yet.

When are you coming over? And returning?
I leading a trail ride around Dolgellau on Friday for some TRF newbies, that's about as much riding I'll be doing for the next week.

Possu, get me some decent pics of the G450X please.....

Enjoy.....

Does anyone know what the difference is between the Saturday and Sunday events? Is it different classes doing the same thing on each day?

Arriving Llanidloes teatime Friday, depart Sunday lunchtime. Probably not much time for trails Timpo . Got my tarmac tyres on (TKC's) so not getting sucked into any heavy Timpo stuff. Have a good weekend hope you are enjoying the new Yam. Got it dirty yet?
