I would love to do an afternoon ride, but some of us have to work for a living!

I can't go on Wed nites but if ya'll keep up the Tues nite thing I am all over it. And always game for a ride on the weekends.

What would you guys think to making a standing nite, of the 2nd Tuesday of every month and then if we want to go more then great. Tthat way some of us could make standing plans to attend?

XR650R King,

Is your bike gonna stay running for more than a month this time?

Probably a bit too gnarly for my Wee, but I can make it to Bike Night at Huey's or elsewhere.

I hope next time it is in a gas station parking lot while it is raining.

No seriously I hope to never see your bike in pieces again. I hope to see it running for a very very long time to come. We got dinner to eat, trails to ride, and land to see.

Any plans where to meet? There's another ADVrider in town and he said he could make it to Southaven. I should be able to make it, too.

Why don't you guys just pick Joe's or Beale. There is something going on at both places between 7:PM & 10:PM.

Easy for everyone to GTG no matter what time you arrive.

I'm pretty sure I will be at Joe's on the Replika. Viper 6 will probably be on his Black 1150 Adventure.

The interest was sparked when Stinkfinger suggested a Wednesday afternoon ride with dinner at Huey's in Southaven afterward. Does Huey's have a bike night?

I can be anywhere tonight, so it doesn't matter to me, but if the guy who came up with the idea wants to meet at Huey's, then I suppose that's where we should meet... unless there's nothing going on at Huey's, and then we should meet elsewhere.

I'll be at the Joe's at Wolfchase. Just hanging out looking at bikes I'm too young to ride (HDs) & girls I'm too old to ride.

7:30 - 8:00 until 10:00 or so.

I agree with JamieZ, but do we have a head count of who is going where? I am in DC flying back tonight and would like to know where we might meet.

Well, I talked to PirateJohn tonight who is staying in Memphis for a bit. He was downtown, but not on his bike. He was going to walk over to Beale. I rolled through Beale Street, startled two Asian tourists when I squeezed between them and I think may have touched each of them on the arm with my mirrors.

Then I headed over to Joe's. Joe's is less organized than Beale, that is, it's a parking lot full of bikes. I've never been there for Bike Night. I parked and circled the lot on foot for about 45 mins, from about 8:30 to 9:15. Looked at bikes. Looked to see if I recognized anyone from their Avatar. I didn't see anyone I knew. Didn't see any ADV stickered bikes.

Came home...

Good night to be out in any case.

Jamie

Would have liked to have gotten out but my flight was late getting in and I'm headed to Atlanta tomorrow so I figured I better call it an early night.

Phone says I took this picture at 9:00. Hung out for a few moments around your bike, but did not see you. I walked back over to show Viper 6 your bike and introduce you to each other around 9:30, you were gone.

I was on the Boxer Cup Replika tonight.

Darn it. Sorry I missed you.

I saw your bike, but until I just Googled it 30 seconds ago, I didn't know what a Boxer Cup Replika was. In fact, I stopped by your bike and looked it over for a few seconds.

Probably you saw me tonight... I wore my Hi-Viz Olympia one-piece. Big yellow/green stripes down the sides.

On that note, I happened to notice a yellow V-Strom on Beale tonight. First time I've seen another Strom on Beale. Anyone here?

Jamie
