Morning Gents,

Snocross that center steel bushing is moulded into the rubber around it. It's not meant to be removed. Clean up the inside and grease the bolt that goes through for easier removal in future.

The bottom shock mount (where it connects to the suspension linkage) has a "hiem joint" type mount. The inner steel bit swivels. It can be removed from the shock by removing spring clips, cleaned and greased

All above is for my SR41.

I ordered a set of Ricky Cross bashbars for my bike last night from Stefan.

Now for the 2 week shipping delay.

That ebay "special" is nice.......but

I've always loved the "classic" Brit single look like the old Norton Manx or Velocettes. Can't you picture a special built to look like these great bikes with a DR800 engine? Like a GB500 Honda....only better.

Thanks for help bluesman, robmoto, england2, ppe172 and ladder106!!! Problem solved here. I just got confused because im about to take everything in parts now. That did not open and i thought it should. So i leave it there and grease that lower mounting

Too much time and the starter is in Estonia next 2 weeks so all i do now is working on the DR.

Talking about patience... What is it?

England 2. I have very little patience when im having a bad day. Bad start to the day with girlfriend. You know.. Then problem with the bike, add there hurry and the computer goes down. Thats one of those moments when things can get very expensive.

You should try 2 months - I also have to climb over my bike every morning to get into the cage. Makes it even worse. Plus the last 2 months the weather has been absolutely perfect for riding - I've had to miss so many trips with my buddies (they keep on sending me photos the swines). In fact, 6 of them are currently on a 5500km trip through Namibia.

2 weeks bah, I spit on it...

Trust me, you can learn a lot from me about being impatient. Used to have old paint tins in the garage I can kick around when mad. This was in my younger days.

I'm a mainframe computer programmer and when things go wrong its really messy. Doesn't go well with my temper.

So, Snocross, all I'm trying to say is HANG IN THERE BUDDY - quite a few share your frustrations.

Peace.

Oh yeah, I forgot, I've been married 15 years and managed to knock her up again. How's that for fun

I`ve had quite a few oil spreaders---- Triumph Bonnie`s, 650 and 750,Tridents,Tiger , Daytona, and oily legs.I had 1 of the last Norton commando `s (1977/78) leaked a little but I cured it, B sa A10,A7,Bantam (1 night ) went back. The British Bike manufacturers didn`t progress as they should and lost out to the Japanese. They still do it and will never learn

Ill hang on dont worry

That was just a joke. Life is too short to be on bad mood! Working with the bike rest of the day has brought me back to good mood. Good music (Disturbed and Volbeat) made even this day to be kick ass.

Just dont scare me with 2 months!

We have just had 5 months long winter and now there have been +20 degree days for the last week. Must get on the road again! And so should you!!!
