And one question to you: have you apply some thermal isolation to bottom of tank like on original one?

Cetre stand

Robmoto,
when you bought the DR750 off Shannon you were supposed to have gotten the centre stand with it. Did you eventually get it. You haven't mentioned fitting it to one of your bikes so I was wondering if you're not using it, can I buy it from you.
Cheers.

Yeah, I know.....

Went to bank to move some money around, got home and found the auction "Ended".

Waiting until business day started in UK, called the bloke and asked if there were any more in stock.

"Sorry Mate, only one at that price and some bloke from Australia got it first. We can get more but it's 2 weeks out for our receipt from Italy - then shipping to you - and did I mention it will be a bit more dear."

Got the end can and connector pipe instead.

It's good actually because I really wanted the header pipe from one of our illustrious inmates (Oh, wait, that was based on Rob's recommendations, wasn't it......hmmmmmmm)

However, I DID get an old Jama/Laser end system from a shop in Canada that had it rattling around for a few years. It was reasonably priced and I've not seen one before

http://i.ebayimg.com/t/SUZUKI-DR750S-989-EXHAUST-MUFFLER-PIPE-SILENCER-SLIP-/00/s/NDgwWDY0MA==/$(KGrHqFHJFQE88fBZKsUBPRtp45epQ~~60_58.JPG

The photo is a bit rubbish so I don't really know how it works (well, I know gas goes in one end and comes out the other...just not what happens to it between those 2 points) or what the end looks like (those holes are a mite confusing). More photos when it arrives....rather a gamble.

So now I've got 2 systems coming. At least I can compare.

Note to self: Don't tell rich Australian guys about good parts deals when there are less than 3 available and he has 5 Bigs.

The seller said that they take the VAT tax off and that pay,s the extra postage to our countries so don,t forget to ask him.

It's OK, Big Guy

NO, No, no, noooooooooo (see title of last post, please)

I'm fine.....was just having you on, mate.

Really.

You're offer does you great service but it is completely unnecessary. We'd both kill ourselves paying for shipping.

Bounced back and forth between this head pipe and Resi's or Stefans model....decided to go with one of them.

Guys,

here's a little video I took last autumn, 6km from my home through a valley.

This was the first tryout with a helmet cam.

Cheers,
Lars

Just found this nearby:

I am saving for a WR250R but that sure is attractive.
