I have some lights that might fit off another bike (cant remember what off), and want more light is all....Thanks guys and hope to see you out there............

Ps...have not ridden for 6 years either..lol

Simon, If your order is over 1k Australian and customs check your parcel you have to pay our GST but a fear few get past .
Stefan used to take of the VAT value added tax from his end as we are not part of the euro thingy but don,t anymore and that would help with the rediculious cost of postage.

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have access to the diagrams of the centrestand originally put up by Bluesman? I'm doing a bit of travelling on the SR42 now and think that a centrestand a good idea and can get one made up at a friend's workshop or my cousin's farm workshop perhaps. It doesn't seem to be on page 186 anymore.

Thanks,

Shane

To make this stand more usable - after you made it and aligned all - I recommend to weld one that "pedal" thing like on old Honda central stands. This really help to get Big on central stand, otherwise it is hard work...

Indeed :) Worked well on my Big. But most important - they only about 20 watt consumption each. Good for DR anemic generator.

Marlboro DR-Z

Hi folks,
I'm back into my DR rebuild after a bit of a detour.
I have fitted a 50mm Marzocchi front end, but being a pedantic old fool, I've realised that I do want the bike to be as period correct as possible.
Can anyone confirm that the factory DR-Z's ran 43mm forks?

It ran DR350 forks.

You can make any non-USD forks look period correct - who cares for some mm optically if old forks openly s...s functionally? Unless you ride it in sand of course...
