Rode part of the Olympic loop and ended up at the High Steel Bridge.

Nice shot, needs a KLR in there tho!

We're heading up to Lk Cushman area to camp this wkd, do you know if the lake park is open yet, or will we have to tent in the wild?
I see the highest elev. around there is only 2.5 K...should be clear of snow?
Mt. Hood to "Gerbings" via the coast.

Thanks, Neil.

Sometimes a guy with a KLR comes with us!

I'm not really sure about the lake cushman camping. We only ride by it. Should be free of snow at the campsites though, and a couple weekends ago there were lots of cars over there, so i'm 80% sure that the park is open for camping... Shoudl be able to call the park and ask I think.

There IS however still snow at the higher elevations in the mountains.. the olympic loop is still snowed in in a couple places, not hard to backtrack and go around. Mostly places that get little sun... Still a couple feet of snow in the road. Blinkerfluid tried it and didn't get very far. Pretty ride though!

We should be good for the camp then, the one's that are continuing on for the loop ride, may have some diversions.
