I have been trying to keep myself busy so I don't think about lighting up. Up at 3.30 am, stripped the 950 down to a thousand bits, changed oil and filters, removed old tyres and messed around with other stuff. Also put new fork seals in the wr450 and then went for a few hundred K trail ride.
Tomorrow I'll do some tree lopping and gardening, then start rebuilding my boat trailer.
I think exhaustion might knock me off before the smokes will

shit im glad im not the only one goin thru that.Went out an bought my first ipod shuffle today,so that has kept me busy sussing that out as i am shocking at puter stuf.Slim dusty is the first to go on

I know its sik but i luv im.My favourite is Star Trucker.If ya never heard it have a listen,its a bloody funny song(let me know what yas think.)

I just got back from the chemist and I'm fully stocked up on gum and patches all ready for tomorrow.

Gentleman, this has to be an honour system. If anyone breaks down and lights up, you have to be honest and admit here in public. First time you will be forgiven. second time and maybe no one should acknowledge your posts or replies for 2 weeks. Na ,maybe not. giving up is hard enough. Usually on a ride I stop for a smoke. Now I'll just ride all day.

Being allergic to the fkn patches doesn't help

Nearly two days, run out of things to do so I'm going for a ride.

Great to see so many are still off the things, every day will get easier and easier and after a while the cravings will stop altogether.. Just need to get through the hard times to enjoy the good times..

If your looking at some sort of penalty system for the strayers... Can I suggest a $50 dollar donation per cigarette to the RFDS??

I tried the patches about 4 years ago and i went off my head on them.I hear what ya saying,it is bloody hard cause the things just flash into your head about every 45 minutes and the she is on for young and old fighting the craving for 12-20 minutes.We will beat this thou

I thought it would be a great idea to have a glass of water whenever I had a craving when I stopped smoking.. Thought it might flush my system and purge these cravings away..

Bloody near drowned the first couple of days..
