There are lots of threads about how to deal with chains on this site; search and you should get lucky.

As for this thread I will give a few general guidelines regarding chains, then predict that if this treads goes more than two pages it will become another WD-40 debate

• Keep the chain clean
• Keep it adjusted per your bikes specs, on the loose side is better than on the tight side. Remember; adjust it at its tightest spot in the rotation, not the loosest spot.
• Keep it “lubed” with your choice of lube, wax, or whatever.
• Choice of lubing or not can be different for dirt bikes and street bikes.

You don't have to crawl under the bike to change its oil, but otherwise, the procedure is basically the same. Be sure to read your owner's manual as to the exact procedure and lubricant properties and quantities.

I dont have a manual for the bike. I will need to get one.

I dont want to start a thread that is going to be a problem, so if someone wants to shut this down now, that would be ok.

Mmmmm, not a bike I know anything about.

Have you searched for a internet forum that deals with Honda CB's? There must be one and I bet they would have the specifics regarding adjustment of your chain and oil changes.

You can also find Clymer and Hanes repair books at your local dealer or on line and they would be a great tool for you. Those books don't cost much and I bet you can even find a used one on Amazon.com. Those books will have a chapter or more devoted just to routine maintenance for your bike.

Best of luck.
