You need to disconnect the battery then do the 15 minute idle.

So, disconnect the battery and then throttle calibration and 15 minute idle when just adding a slip-on?

FMF Power Bomb Head pipe

Has anyone tried the FMF Power bomb Head pipe? It is supposed to lower the sound level as well as provide 10% increase in flow.

Sorry to hijack with this shameless plug but I am currently selling my hardly used and perfect FMF Apex for the 690 - see link to the ad in our classifieds section:

http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=817491 - great muffler, sounds as mean as the devil's arse under throttle - no spark arrestor for those who care/need one.

I need the stock exhaust

My friend crashed his 2010 ktm 690 enduro into the back of an RV. He broke his foot real bad. He has been laid up for over a year. He has not been able to work and is having financial troubles. His bike is in the garage since then in need of a replacement exhaust. He just wants to get the bike back together and sell it.

Does anyone still have there stocker to sell?
Get back to me with a fair price on the "boat anchor" stock exhaust. Shipping will be to California, 95490.

Thanks,
Dennis

There is nothing "boat anchor" about the stock header, and you won't find many people that have replaced it, unlike the muffler.

Post an ad in the Flea Market, that's what it's for.

Dat true. The stock header has good quality welds on it, unlike some (supposedly performance enhancing) aftermarket products...

My bad. I was quoting the original post which called the muffler not the header. Thanks for clarification.

The KTM silencer Outlet Opening looks TINY

I've been well pleased with my FMF TI-Q4, but it needs repacking now

I wished I'd went ahead, bit the bullet & purchased the AKRA slip on

Ohhhhh the Akra the SOUND Nothing sounds better than the Akra

The Akra Mapping should work fine with any aftermarket Silencer.
