The e number on the can its self shows that it conforms to regs and is road legal (in the EU at least). Mine's got the cat fitted and has the following written on it: e4 2368 5 9. The one with the cat is street legal.

Hope this helps. Might be worth trying your local KTM dealer for help if you're having trouble with "the man".

Quick question. My dealer told me that I should not put my wings slip-on on and ride it to the dealer to remap it with the arko map..

He said I can burn up my motor.

How true is this. I wouldn't put my DNA air filter till I got to the dealer.

I'm getting the feeling he wants me to have them put it on. Ain't nobody got time for that!

Dose this hold any truth?

Thanks

Dep- Mount that Wings and the air filter and ride her like the dirty dog she is.

The dealer might just want to relieve you of 80 fun tokens for the Akra remap.

Why the remap? I opted for the UNI twin pod drop in from KTMTwins, a Wings from Gorzad and haven't looked back. 55 to 60mpg's is what we get with the stock map but I hear that Akra drops it down to the 40's.

Uggg!

Dirty

so no papers included? "the man" requires paper work, graphs, diagrams, cross sections....blah. serious problem with such a hot exhaust in the tropical heat. I only have option for LV which local dealers having hard time getting the authorities to approve it for local use.

No paper work. You just get the can in a box. If you need all that technical stuff I think you'll have to approach KTM direct and tell them your problem. KTM will want to sell as many powerparts as they can so I would expect them to be keen to see your issue resolved with a simple email to the relevant authority.

Is the Wings or AKRA going to make my 2013 690 Enduro R pass DB and spark arrestor restrictions for AMA Dual Sport Rides. I think it's 92 DBs???

Is there any reason to take the Akra over the Wings? Take price out of the mix for argument sake. Is one better than the other? (A some careless driver gave me $1505 to replace my stock can he damaged.)

How's the Uni filter working out? Mileage factor? Any Akro riders report in their milage. I think Dirty Sanchez said the Akro is only geting 40 mpg? Really? My new bike stock got 61 mpg on last tank before getting hit. Great mpg. Hate to loose that.

MakoRider screwed with this post 05-13-2013 at 07:34 PM Reason: mileage info

I'd choose the wings over the arko. Build quality is on par. They also come with two arrestors and at half the cost of the arko.

I hit reserve at 110-115 miles with the akro slip-on, remap and k&n filter.
