Could you post the co-ordinates of your place as my map reading skills have begun to suffer since having the Zumo aboard.
Please have a list of chores or things we who will be visiting with can do to help out .

We will be riding out from Myrtle Beach, any one want to tag along from this area would be welcome

Thanks

I forgot to write them down but will be down there in a week or two and will pm them to you when I get there or back.

I tend to go hatin' on big assed crowds and porta potties. I was just gonna camp somewhere up in the mountains and ride into the rally for a day thing or 2. 'Till somebody dropped me the line on this. Got room for one more?

Since you've got a cabin in the area, any chance you have any good info for fly fishing in the area? I'm hoping to make the rally and do some fishing in the area.

Hello all, from a n00b to the East Coast! I'm looking forward to meeting some locals!

Anyway, I'm not certain of the ability to attend the UnRally yet, and I'm like a few others here and leery of crowds when riding (portapotophobia), but it sure sounds fun! I moved here from Lander, Wyoming about 18 months ago and am just learning about the larger area of riding possibilities. There are a lot of great rides around Lexington but I get the feeling I've barely scratched the surface.

I lived in Lander when BMWMOA held it's UnRally in Cody, Wyoming, about 165 miles away but was unable to attend due to a death in the family. I attended the Gunnison, CO UnRally two years later but a buddy crashed his scooter on the way down so I didn't get to attend for very long since I spent a bunch of time helping him get squared away. Then I moved to Virginia and the National was the next summer in Gillette, Wyoming, about 285 miles from good old Lander while I was now 2000 miles away. Now I'm in Lexington, VA and will be only ~200 miles from Gray, Tennessee and it seems it just may be time to actually attend a Rally! I think a buddy from Ottawa might be coming down too. I hope to see some of y'all there!

Doug

Here is a local shop in Johnson City, TN. I haven't used them but they came up to Louisville and gave a knowledgable presentation at a near fly shop

Doug,

We'll have to catch up sometime - we spend a lot of time in the Lexington area - went to school there and have friends with kids in school there now (wow I'm old...). Also have a camp just over the mountain in Amherst County. I'd be curious to find out how you ended up going from WY to Lexington sometime!

Hey Party Boss, count me in. I'll either be there or out west fighting fires.

In.

And gracias for the invite...although I really just invited myself

Lemme know what I can contribute. Otherwise it's pot luck (that probably means fiery chili).
