Any news from Metal Mule ???
Curious to hear if Paul @ MetalMule has finally finished work on the racks and luggage for the 690 Enduros of Dandini et al. I checked the MM website recently but alas, no updates regarding this work. I know I am still quite interested ...
Cheers. Mark |

Paul has promised end of the month - bits are being powder coated as we speak.. so not long to wait now...
He did say he would be at the Ally Pally show showing the system for those in UK

Have you ridden with the bags attached and loaded? Do they look like they would carry a load and not tear away at the attachment points?

That rack looks huge!
I'm looking for something small, just big enough to strap a gallon jug onto to extend my range a bit. Touratech is supposed to have a new piece out made for the 690.Anybody seen or have an opinion on it?? http://www.touratech-usa.com/shop/sh...1C2CUkmNDBAB5A Quote:

Gobi Bags
I have not seen anyone mention the Gobi 950/990 bags here. Will they fit on the OEM rack from KTM? Can they be used at all on a 690E?

Another Touratech rack
There's a few Touratech racks fitted to the 690 but most seem to require a bit of work to get them to fit the hard part horse shoe rack mount due to badly placed holes in the rack. I've fitted this one thats made for a BMW F800/650GS that manages to line up all metal at the mounting points on the horse shoe.

Looks great Dan!
I've already got the tourtech pannier racks ... do you think the metal moose top box rack will work with it? Also I'm curious how strong those boxes are ... are they close to the right size and strong enough to use as a center stand? Thanks rick |

These racks seem a fair way back - probably assist with wheelies
