Has this Kiwi Forum been a success???
Hi NZers..
A few here put up a fairly strong argument about creating their own forum just for the brothers of New Zealand.. Something about not being able to find threads in amongst the Aussie forum so needed their own space.. I see that there are very few new threads being started and they also tend to sit for some time without contributors.. My question to all you guys is... Do you think the seperate forum is a success?? Not trying to be smart here, just curious why this forum hasn`t been as successful as I thought it would be.. |

It was never going to be an instant success. Most Kiwi riders still use Kiwibiker & that is the site that is most widely known.
Clint's MMMM ride was organised on that site & has a heap of posts yet here it has only 7. I always look at the kiwi section ,only occasionally on the ocker neck of the woods as it is not particularly relevant to me Us kiwis need to use this site more & get it better known but that takes time. I can understand if you pull the pin & we will have no one to blame but ourselves, use it or lose it & I am as guilty as anyone. |

It was never going to be as busy as the Aussie forum. I would have expected more usage that it gets, but wouldn't rate it as a failure.

posts #2 + 3 (and the absence of further replies) tells it all. abysmal failure.
as for you nev, posting at midnight ... you either have the laptop in bed with the finger on the refresher button, or, mrs griff won't have abar of ya.

Having little traffic, but being separated and easily found, is a step forward from having little traffic, but being swamped in the convict forum.

Shmerel is back,
There goes the neighbourhood, If ever there was a good reason for supporting a Kiwi forum its him. Since you are here , how are you going,? its been peaceful without you, not that I'm complaining nor do I even give a shit, Just being neighbourly, us Kiwis are like that. |

sorry if our little piece of this great site doesn't meet your criterior for "success"
but I consider it a success as I can come here and keep track of whats happening LOCALLY which I wouldn't bother doing if I had to wade through the Oz forum to find NZ posts

as for your own posts, which i looked at, apparently you spend more time in thumpers, beasts and hacks etc than the NZ forum. ![]() an enzud subforum (like the tassi one), or an enzud sticky calender (like the aussie adv one) would have worked for you better, i suggest. ![]() having said that, noi need to waste yer acid on turkeys. . nothing like stirring up the . Us Aussies are like that, you understand.your posts are not much better than your 2tired brother. you react when an aussie walks in, and the rest if the time you're ![]() cobber, come on over to the wild side (the Oz forum). don't be scarred, now ... i give you blokes 12 months max before this decaying forum gets shifted back.

It's a sh*tty winter here in Wellington and I'm too busy and poor to ride much besides the daily commute.

i didn't ditch Johnny, and predict that kevin07 will be out next election. anyway, you're thread-jacking the issue (not that i care to defend any pollie, unless of course you wanna defend piggy 'think-big-cos-we-nzeders-are-fuckwits-that-dont' muldoon). i take your response as an admissioon of your forum's abject failure. nothing to be ashamed on, it was an adventure and now let's fix it. btw, i agree with all your other remarks. |
