K7 DRz250 - Throttle Response

Hi Guys,

I have a K7 DRz250, Ozzy spec with just over 3,000km on the clock.

Took it for a trip doing mostly dirt roads fully loaded with all my camping gear.

Anyway I noticed I seem to have a hesitation from the throttle when I have just backed off and now want to open it again.

Not sure if I only noticed it because the bike was so loaded, or if it is a new issue?

Filter is clean, plug is new - any advice / suggestions from fellow DRz250 riders?

Cheers Gobby

Pumper Carb I think?

Maybe the carb is due a clean out - will clean it this weekend, and test again.

Thanks for that

Long Range Tank for DRz250

Will be keen to see the finished product, and a full write up about any mods you might have had to make. So if you need a note for school, work, kids or the wife, let me know, and we get one out to you pronto.

update i will get some pix out asap

so far it is looking good although the djebel folks mite have a better day with this mod the dr650 tank mounts in the rear (under seat) are near the same as the djebel. so this means i need to fab up some bolt in mounts on my drz250 no biggie also the shape of the djebel seat looks a bit more like the dr650 aswell

the fun begins the drz250 front mounts are bolts on the very front of the tank and the dr650 mounts are rubber donuts under the tank on the frame, tight on the up side it is looking like we will be able to change a spark plug with out removing the tank. i ordered some dr650 tank mount donuts today so in the mean time i will work on the rear mount.

any one out there have any pictures of a djebel with out the tank on it please post them

i am loving this set of problems
