Hello riders,

Long time I have been just reading the topic so I am going to upload one photo with my Djebel..still 90% stock.
I am planing for this winter to do a major rebuilding on the engine, suspensions ,bearings...and repaint allthe rusty parts.
I have a hard copy of the manual...I use to have also an electronic one until my HD burn down ..I have some trouble with the clutch and the carburator and I will ask for some advice .
Sorry I have no ideea how to upload pictures..some help please!
Good luck!

At a place called Greta Valley, Canterbury, New Zealand. It was and organised ride. What you can’t see is the carnage on the way up, boy it was steep - 1st gear on the 250. We basically climbed from the river below that you can see. There were lots of little river crossings and really neat tight bits that the DRZ excels at.

Gun Racks

Hi there,

I have a 2006 Drz250 and wanting to mount a rifle on it and go hunting, would anyone know where a good website or shop would be to track down a rifle rack ?

Something like this could be mounted to a rear rack.

Hi Geoff,
Yeah I / We (another DRZ250 rider) do ride Weedons Ross Rd quite a bit - Mainly when there is no trial ride on and we are hanging out for a ride.I have not done the north side of the Mak for about 15 years. I'm put off by motorcross tracks (and the wannabees that ride them). Are their any deicent trials on that side?. I think the gates at Miners Bank Rd are now open (they have been closed for logging) so Id be more inclined to ride from Haul road (the first stopbank by the airport) to the inlet. Private Mail me if you want to catch up for a blat at all

Cheers
John

This might have already been covered, but does anyone know of a way to convert the stock trail odometer to a fully functioning speedometer from a DR650 or anything? Just curious could really use a speedometer rather than an odometer. Thanks,
