Question Best farkles for a 1994?

I just picked up a 1994 DR250S that is bone stock. I get confused in this thread which farkles and mods work with this model. Could someone clear up where to get the following items?

1. Aftermarket exhaust. NOT loud, but performance oriented. Does the DR350 FMF fit?
2. Carb jet kit. Does this help at all in this model?
3. Other carb mods?
4. Rear shock. Mine is totally shot. Is there an aftermarket available? DR350 shock fits or no?
5. Rear rack. Do DR350 racks fit?
6. More modern front fender. DR350 or DRZ400 fender fits???
7. More modern headlight shroud. DRZ400 fits???
8. Oversized tank. Is the Clarke 4.2 gal the biggest?
9. Air/Fuel mix screw. Which one fits?
10. Plastic Side covers. Best source for these. Do DR350 covers fit? Is Maijer the only aftermarket supplier?

Thanks for looking at my "Top 10". I appreciate the help getting up to speed on what is possible with this bike.

Hi looking to take off on the DRZ250 for about a week and needing to sort out some luggage options for it.
Can anyone recommend some off the shelf luggage system? Don't want to have to mess around with building luggage racks.

It cost $168.00 (with PayPal deduction and other payment). Shipping cost to Australia need to adjust, but is not expensive.
If you allude to me (Olexa from olexarider.ucoz.ua) - 5% discount guaranteed ;)
Thanks for the info, just placed an order and mentioned your name.

Thanks

PS How much to you guys weigh to change springs? I'm about 195-200 pounds fully geared up, the springs seem OK to me (once I get the rear preload sorted, there is nearly none on there!!!)

Remove the battery and box. Very easy to do and gives good access to the preload rings. Spray the threads down with WD40 and wipe them clean, then spray again before attempting. At your weight you should be able to dial in the proper sag numbers with the stock shock spring. The stock fork springs are going to be light for your weight, but you can probably get away with increasing the fork oil height (i.e., decreasing the air gap) by 10mm.

OhioPT, Can you do a comparison between the DRZ 250 and the 250 EXC? I understand that they are different animals, but just want a hear opinions from somebody who owns both.

The 2T itch is growing stronger and I cannot justify having 2 dirt bikes as per the laws of my HOME land.

Has anyone here ridden both the TM28 and BSR32 carbed DRZ250s? I'm wondering if the performance difference is significant enough to make it worthwhile swapping out the BSR for the TM28...
