I've been wanting to create an avatar. A google search didn't help, so I did a search here and found this thread. I can't believe its been a sticky right in front of me all this time.

Or maybe a version resized smaller so you still see the tie

I like the one on the top without the tie. Nice touch reversing the direction of gaze. I'll be keeping this one permanently.

I have just switched to a custom avatar and loaded it up from work. My question is will I still have this avatar when I access from my home computer or do I need a copy on that machine as well?
