We are going to free ride on Saturday afternoon, and do the organized ride on Sunday. Weather permitting we might even stay for a morning ride on Monday.

Wish I could come. But would need a little more time to schedule something like that.

Don't know if I can make it. Maria has a 101F fever right now. So I will see how she is feeling in the morning.

Circle K

Circle K (Shell Station) at the corner of Washington Road and Columbia sounds good to me.

Let's plan on rolling out of there by 9am. I'll probably be there a good 10-15 minutes earlier to enjoy a cup of joe.

Hope Maria's feeling better soon - let her know S and I are thinking of her.

yeah it was rather dusty..I tried to get thorpe and cat to ride ahead sometimes but they were up for the dust challenge. I had a great time did a little over 200 miles...rode down below harlem thompson on dirt to powellton then up to heavy's for some good BBQ..then forgot about the bridge out below sharon to the church and had to back track and we found our way through a bunch of new/old trails to the road again north of the church. where we stopped and were graced by the pastor of the church who was coming to fix the well or something and told us a bunch of history about the church and dirt racing. then headed on home getting back around 4:30

A lot of hunters out and about and saw a lot of dead dear hanging..

lastly I got a little to comfortable on the last section of giles road before it hits writesboro..the last little section of road..it was long and straight and I forgot there was a bridge down in the middle..as I was hauling along prolly going 70+ I noticed as I was on top of it the bridge had sunk down I hit it and never remember being airborne for so long it was the shere speed of more than the actually dip..when I landed my bike felt like it was getting slammed into the earth then I was back and forth sideways then off into the ditchwhile my tank bag went flying but I finally recovered about 150 yards past the bridge. had to pull my handlebars back up as they had gotten rotated down, bottemed out my front which pushed the fork boots up over the clamps, and I noticed today I bent my front rim a little..I really thought it was gonna be a wreck...

but all that ends well is well

hope the wife is feeling better...I am gonna try and do a get together in the near future one evening for some grilling..
