Somewhere I probably do, if you have the Southern Loop Track it is in that. It will be Toccoa to Elberton, Then Elberton to Augusta

Yeah, they're done now, I've been following them pretty closely and helped with their maps and such. Trip nightmare happened on their first night while camping. Most of them got eaten up with chiggers/red bugs in their nether regions! Good Lord, could you imagine staring five more days in the saddle with chigger bites on your nads?!?! Wow...

On a more local note, I got an email from Bill, they're having a blast, so far no rain and no flat tires. I'm so jealous....

Did they do the entire loop or just go to the mountains??

No, they didn't do the entire loop, just the western portion up, and then they cut back down around atl and followed craftycoders "atlanta to florida dual sport route".

I will not be able to ride tomorrow, sorry about this if there was any way I could get out I would. I will be putting this ride back on next Saturday's schedule. Hopefully Trippin you will be able to make it, and I am truly sorry.

todays ride started pretty good, got some good pics, then got a flat around Bradly SC. it got crappy from there. waiting for 4 hours for a truck, sleep getting interrupted at the boarded up gas station by some kids who blew their transmission right there and dumped burning stinking trans fluid all over the ground in my quaint sleepy gas station.

loved the new tires, definitely felt no "float" in any type of gravel, whether it was deep or just light over clay. kept street pressure the whole time..... until the flat LOL.

WARNING DANGER WILL ROBINSON

the farmers MX track

the bridge to get there

and the gas station i walked the bike to and spent the rest of the day... ugh

ride was going great before the flat, i felt quick and very much in control of the slide of the bike, really diggin the new front wheel and tire combo off road. on road its just phenomenal.

ps. 17s and deep water equals ALL THE WATER IN THE AIR AND IN YOUR LAP, for some reason on the deep crossing on horn creek rd/peaceful creek the tire just shot all the water straight on my chest and thighs absolutely drenching my entire body front and back from my chest down. phone got lucky and didnt die and leave me stranded till later.

pps. buy new back up tubes when you use your only spare 17" to mount new tire...

Man, looks like it was a fun ride until that flat TG!

That front tire looks huge! Kind of reminds me of the current mountain bike tire selection trend - manufacturers are running fatter tires in the front than the back on a lot of new models. They can run a little lower tire pressure for a smoother ride, and they've got more grip for diving into corners from the bigger surface patch.

I need to go check out that track, looks fun.
