I'm not sure if I'm leaving tomorrow or Thursday and I'm trying to determine a start time / potential camping risk if I don't make it there by dark.
We rode it a couple years ago on the last leg of the trip home. We left Bryson city and road around 8ish and arrived in Rabun ga around 11 ish then road mostly slab home down the SC side of border getting in about 4ish after a along lunch stop. I would think it would be a good day ride. There is a patchwork of dirt until you get to the mountains then the dirt is longer and better

Good luck...I seem to only have time lately to ride my back back and forth to work and will be in a different part of NC this weekend

Anyone have any experience with the Triumph dealer in Augusta? I need to have my first service done on my 800XC, and don't really want to go to Atlanta. I bought the bike used with 800 miles on the clock, and now it's time for the service.

They are honest and knowledgeable. I know them personally. Tom owns the business and Mike does the wrenching. They just moved into a new building. In fact when I stopped by there Saturday Tom told me that he would be open on Tuesday. The phone wasn't working Saturday. Hopefully they can get it fixed on Monday. Phone 706-650-9995. If it doesn't work let me know and I can tell them to call you. I wouldn't let anyone in Augusta work on anything I have except them.

Planning to ride Sunday. Going to Millen to Krystal's was wanting to extend an invitation to ride and eat. If the weather is cooperating.

Krystal's a taste of kountry

Had an awesome ride in the rain with cat. Found some sweet roads to Millen probably 80 to 90% dirt for taking about 30 minutes to come up with. I going to see if I can come up with a route to savannah this way. Cat has some video that he will post up later I'm sure.
