Good pic!

Great to see everyone yesterday! We need to do that more often. Oh, and maybe plan some more local rides. Wouldn't that be crazy?

So I'm likely heading to ATL tomorrow to look at a vehicle. Any must see moto shops there? I recall Blue Moon used to be cool.

What I'm really looking for is a place with a good selection of helmets so I can try a few on.

That place looks awesome! Great selection.

Unfortunately, I'm already back. Actually, I just got back. I ended up at car dealerships all day and never had a chance to hit up the local moto stores.

I am now Jeepless, and have a nice soccer mom approved SUV.

If anyone is interested in a 2007 Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon, I know where a nice one will be for sale next week.

As I recall, they chickened out. And after seeing the pictures, I don't blame them one bit.

I don't blame them either. My buds just came back from there. Three of them wanted to do Black Bear. The first guy fell (as seen in the picture). The other 2 walked their bikes down the hill and around the turn. They all said they would not do it again. It just isn't worth the risk.

I suspected that you meant a ride report from the AARSE guys. I wish they would deliver too.

FWIW, the report listed above has been completed. The Black Bear stuff is very good.

Today I was retracing one of the Abbeville rides from earlier this year. The Peaceful Creek crossing was a breeze today. The puddle by that old rock quarry (photo) qualified as a lake today being a whole lot deeper than I remembered it. Uh.....found the operating depth of the XR650L.
