Hey Joe! I just started watching that MITRA Dual Sport ride, and thought the guy behind the helmet cam sounded familiar. Then, I noticed whose Youtube channel it was. I was wondering if you were a member here. I was going to ask you that on SW, but obviously no need!

I should have been checking this thread earlier.

I'm taking the summer off from classes. We'll have to get together for a ride. I really want to check out Bluff creek.

or nicholson ford.

rode there when I was a kid and it was illegal

It seems to be open for ATV and Off road motorcycles. If it's still in the 50's this weekend, I'll have to take a drive up there. It's only about 30 miles from Newton.

Tama is alright. There is a lot of trails. But, it's pretty flat. There was alot of sand and mud - which wasn't much fun on my 80/20 street tires!

If you want to take a drive - hit the one in Waterloo. Lots of fun terrain there.

Save your gas money! Nicholson Ford is more boring than Tama. Waterloo is good!

I did not try, I took one jump and remembered how crappy the stock forks are on my KLR. I dont know if its normal for the 2008 KLR or not but the front suspension has sucked for jumping since day one.
