Two more nice Expedition Yachts.

This is one of my favorite boats that I ran. I worked for the company that built these, so I got to run everyone they built while I was there. It is an American custom yacht builder that is Dutch owned. I had a great time in Dubai running this one, plus the owner only knew two speeds trolling or wide open, 48kts! I even outran Iranian gunboats on two occaisions because we were fishing too close to Abu Musa Island. They were pissed.

Did they try to put a shot across your bow?

What a dream it would be to be on one of those expedition yachts in Antarctica.

If you ever get around to it, let me know and I'll try to come over to the States and help you out.

Nice boats slideways, 48 is hauling ass in that thing.

On a side note, this has been around a while.
But adventure worthy.

Forgive the cross post in the other thread, but this is a dream boat too:

The guy who cut a milk truck in half and built the Dobbertin Surface Orbiter:

He is working on a nice smaller amphib sports version now:
Check out the bulid up pics below, looks like it will be very cool.
A serious adventure vehicle:

Sweet Mother of...

Talk about a little something to keep the tailgaters back!

That Dobertin gut has some serious fabrication skills. I remember the prostreet Pontiac he built back in the 80s

Dunno why cat ketches appeal to me, but they do.

Now I need to dream of a place to build it.

56 feet of a little bit of everything mixed together. Hull number 1 should be done soon.

My current object of lust.

I'm looking at Saddam's old boat, maybe do a few reno's inside, choose a good crew of young babes and she's good to go.

http://www.usatoday.com/news/world/2...am-yacht_N.htm

Or look for Adnan Khassogi's boat, the one Donald Trump bought used for a song.

Or the maybe Lady Maura

Then there's the Dubai at 500 some feet
