They look like the Adventure-Spec prototype, but they're not in production yet, AFAIK. I e-mailed them yesterday to find out when they'll be available and how much to ship the bash plate to the States. I'll post their response. If there is a US fabricator who wants to tackle this, let us know! I for one would be interested in buying a set.

Very curious...
What brand are your crash bars?
These appear to offer the most protection of any crash bars to date.

Don't think they're Adventure-Spec, Rob. Wonky's still working on those I think.

I took a rough measurement with a tape-measure and got 30 1/2 inches. Thanks

Same as me although I'm four inches taller (I'm the tallest guy in the World sitting down!). I've got the F800GS with the low seat and an Airhawk and I can't quite flat-foot it but I've got the balls of my feet on the ground on both sides or flat-foot one side and toes the other.

Thanks, good to know! I suppose there are some options to lower the suspension too if need be?

I hate the big Vasolene jar of brake fluid on the handlebars. Couldn't they have come up with something different?

Wasn't the original plan apparently but air bubbles were getting into the fluid due to vibration so they came up with the 'stalk'. You can get a "thingy" from Touratech; it's not a problem.

Anyway, piss off all of you, this thread is for pics!

I guess it just needs a GPS in front of it. :)

It's still my favorite bike out there right now.

Interesting look to the panniers expecially the front, any more pics and how much?

Thanks for that, so maybe with a lower seat I should be pretty darn close.

Pics at page 11 and 12 here: http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthr...146379&page=11

The exact prices are still unspecified and baked into my total lump price of bike and parts and I expect the special pannier frame & brackets + panniers to be very near same for the R1200GSA.

I'll give my dealer a call tomorrow and have them specify the prices.
