Some people believe that showing an image of their license plate on an on-line forum somehow exposes them to identity theft. Why they believe that, given that their license plate is exposed to the world every day that they ride their bikes in public, is a mystery to me too.

But I'm sure someone will soon chime in here with a story about how their sister's boyfriend's dentist knew a guy whose uncle...

FCC regulations! Unless some appendage of your motorcycle is covered from view, it is considered to be naked and falls under the guise of being bike porn.

As David states, who knows, but I knew a dentist whose uncle's, brother's, sister's, niece's, aunt's, cousin once stayed at a Holiday Inn Express. She said she didn't cover her plate and OH BOY, did she have hell to pay for it!

MPS (Motorcycle Protective Services) got called in, put the bike in a foster garage, made the family attend seminars on; dino vs synthetic oil, choosing the correct tire, inflation pressures, and how to break in your motorcycle properly.

It was a traumatic time, so I was told. Don't let this happen to you!!!! Cover up or you too could be next.

Just walk around to the back side of your desk, or stay where you are and just spin the monitor around.

Here's mine from the weekend. First real ride on the new Heidenau K60s and they rocked! did the same ride in the spring on TKCs and these were just as good. Also, my new Beowulf muffler sounded sweeeeet.

Ride on,
Mark

everywherevitrually, those pictures of hadrians wall, especially the first one, are great. one of the main reasons i'm getting out of race bikes is to really get into touring around. seeing photos like these gives me more places on the bucket list to tick off.
keep em coming.

Let's see how this works..

Can't compete with the scenery on previous posts, but here's how a finnish forest looks at the moment. On a ride with a buddy of mine:

Yes. I know we're boring...but neither one wanted the slower yellow color.
And hey, at least the license plates are different!

Wow, twin twins, right down to all the farkles. You guys must have to check your plates to make sure you're getting on the right bike each time

The yellow ones might be slower, but they have better endurance and don't need to lie down for naps as often.

what i meant my dear everywherevirtually,is that f800 has a wider tank (you know what i mean) so the whole pic of the bike fitted with the tt screen is different.

i know that i might be seeking too much detail, but that's just me.

all i wanted since the begginning (and i noted that) was a pic from the front of the bike at a distance of about 2 meters so that all the bike will be depicted.the bike would be an f800gs.

i am clear.i know that i was such a pain in the ass.

excuse me for that.
Just to end this whole shlamozzle, and because I promised sundance a loooooong time ago I'd do this, here are three pictures of my bike with my TT screen from head on:
