thanks again, Keith
Hey Biker Keith, I think you can have your cake and eat it too! What I have IS a Suono (not an Oval), with the deep, loud sound and the badass look. You can see it is a Suono by the groove it has on the side. Now you can have various caps and mine is all carbon.

Look here: http://www.mivv.it/en/prodotti_apri.asp?cl=1&cs=796

I'll let you know how it sounds once I have the QD headers

Hey roof , first of all welcome ... You'll soon notice that ChiTown pushes the bike to it's full (and sometimes behond) limits (and he is not the only one ) . I really respect that in him... Like he says: '' thats how I wash my bike'' . Adventure bikes are really fun, it opens up the way to travel on 2 wheels.... If you decide to buy an adventure bike , I,m sure you'll love it .... Just remember though , these are heavy bikes . What you see done offroad with these looks easy , but for a biginner you'll have to give it some learning time....

SDAR ride report HERE
Freakin great ride, amigo. Not sure I'm that skilled on the big enduro (yet!) - water crossing looked amazing.

Sorry to hear about Tom - I did the same thing up at Amago on my CRF250x a couple of years ago, minus the bone breakage. No fun.

I just joined SDAR, so maybe when there is something more along my comfort level, I'll join ya'll.

Awesome. Trust me when I say you would have done fine on the ride. There were a couple of new riders along and they all made it. My arms are still f'd up so I just rode casually and took lots of pictures.
