Very nice ... besides the skiiing, makes me think of bacon-wrapped scallops and beer at the Best Western.

We bought em. You wont be able to rent an 800 for quite a few months yet, there is such a huge demand for them, the dealers still have long waiting lists (4-6months).

I went out for a little fun today. Bike handled the dirt well overall but I get the feeling the front end bops around too much when the tire hits a rock or rut. Steering stabilizer maybe?

Im sure it would help, but have been told it makes things difficult at slow/fast speeds depending on how its set. Dont worry you´ll do get used to it, it helps to have handle raisers and the handles turned up a little.

Did you decrease the air pressure in the tubes for the dirt?

Probably not enough. I was at about 32psi so I probably could have aired down a bit more.

Those look like Adventure-Spec guards.

I have one and I like it.
They just added crash bars to the site today. (the skidplate is not compatible with any other bars)
The bashguard alone is about $300 shipped to USA
I think you can get a package deal basher and bars for about $550 shipped

http://www.adventure-spec.com/shop/g...ds/cat_39.html

I ordered my bars today.
