Pigeon Point

On my continuing quest (thus far unsuccessful) to find dirt roads within 100 miles of San Francisco, I rode south, 280, Uvas Road, Redwood Retreat, Mount Madonna (8 miles of dirt!) then back through Coralitos and up the coast. Afternoon sun on the flowers at Pigeon Point was photogenic enough to motivate a quick U-turn. Hopefully that isn't too many words for a photo thread...

Cool bike, nice decals. Where did you get the F800 decal and the GS decal for the helmet?!?

Not much of a view of the bike, but a good view from the bike.
Crashed an LC-8 ride yesterday. The poor little brokeback beemer was the butt of almost every joke. She kept up the pace just fine.

Way cool, John. That downhill section would have taken me out for sure.

I bet you had your ABS turned off.

J0hn, what exhaustr do you have? Your bike sounds more like a dirt bike than mine.

Waiting for warm weather long gone

A shot from our trip into the Chilcotins. We went about 90 miles into the boonies and camped at Mud Lakes (was much nicer than it sounds). Our bud Dan kept the Grizzlies busy during the night by putting his tent right under the bear cache. Beautiful scenery and our fair share of fixing each others bikes with zap straps, duct tape and chewing gum. This shot is on the way out. The sky revealed sun and we stopped to take off our rain gear at Carpenter Lake.

cheers,
Mark
