My ride today

Went over to a buddies so we decided to ride.

First we did some urban motarding. Some back alleys, parking garages, sidewalks through construction. Somehow me made it ontop of the roof.

Then we went under the I-40 bridge crossing drainage ditches and speeding up and down in between pillars in the dirt. No pics, too busy riding.

Then we went over to a friends house who was having a birthday party for his kid.

On the way home I was just looking for stuff to park the bike in front of.

Downtown OKC

Little Mexico

The Stockyards

I think its right side shoots best

Hey Phil, and others, any comments on the Vario cases? How's the mounting? Are they the same size as the 12GS Varios?

good stuff, thanks!

I've heard several people say this but it doesn't bother me a bit. It's low enough that if I'm watching the road ahead (which I try to do most of the time), it's not in my peripheral vision.

I need some knobbies, mini ride report of the The Rusty Machetes

Something like a 50/50 on the front, and a 60/40 (do they even make this) or 70/30 on the back.

Although the battlewings preformed reasonably well @ 17psi over the soft deep sand near moab, Oklahoma. I mean binger, OK.

I can say I at least hung with the more experienced. Most of the roads we rode on were a combination of soft deep red sand and slickrock.

We stopped here because of this

We made our own bypass through the woods, hence the name rusty machetes.

Deeply rutted steep sand climb. The KTM 640 got buried half way up

After the dirt tracks, we hit up some more new gravel roads all the way back to the city. Well most of the way, we drove highway 152 at least half way back

I had the F650 cases, never had them on a GS. Much better than the F650 variant with the four latches, one bar that smoothly expands them or puts them back. I really like them, I also like not having the aluminum skin, which would grind through and fly off in a get off, DAMHIK.

Spacewife wants them for the ST, thank heaven they don't fit.

Expansion sounds similar to the 12GS varios. Thanks, Phil!
