Ok, I'm kind of embarassed about this but apperantly the system got air in it and couldn't cool. I checked all the fluids before the trip so my only guess is it happened during a tip over. Wish I could have caught it before I called the trip

Well, I guess that's good news, in a way, right?

Plus, now we all know what to check for should we find ourselves in a similar predicament. Thanks for being a guinea pig. And hey, the OBDR isn't going anywhere. It's still summer. Go for it again! I'm about to take a shot at Route 3 later this month.

The hard part was where to draw the line from yellow to black and mirroring it for the other side.

I'm waiting for my SW-Motech crash bars en BeoWulf Black Stainless Steel exhaust. That should give it an even more tough look.

The thing i am not sure about is the stickering. A big GS sticker just below the BMW logo is an option. Any advise on that is welcome

Ah yes, north central Washington. I can walk out my door, jump on my bike and 10 minutes later here I am.

After buying these bikes last winter, I can finally post a few pics in this thread. A few from today's ride:

I understand this is the first my dealer has heard of a water pump going out.

Mine is in the shop. Water pump being replaced, fuel injectors, fuel pump, and some valve cover. 7k miles and treated like a baby. I hate being sprayed with coolant! I should be good until next August when the warranty runs out so I need to get some serious miles on it over the next year.
