Thanks.
I thought that terrain looked familiar.

It's the Explorer Lite - 4 years old and is in great shape. It sits way better on the F800GS then on my KLR. I don't notice it at all when I stand up.

Trailer

I was thinking the same thing. My rusty old steel trailer is full of dead leaves and is where we store the kids bicycles. That trailer looks cleaner than my kitchen table!

Ride to Denmark

Took a nice ride this past weekend to the Danish border. Finally got the bike registered in Germany, what a process. The Wasserschloss, Water Castle, is just south of the border, nice to open up the GS on the Autobahn, but I think I've finally found the limit of the unstoppable beast. She may be unstoppable, but I did find myself yearning for a bit more power and am now thinking about a backup bike, I'd never ditch my GS. Anyone have similar experience? Been thinking about the Ducati Streetfighter for something with a bit more pickup.

No, I didn't make it through which was a good thing... because another landslide happened a minute later only 30 yards ahead

Yikes, you need a tracked vehicle to cross that part... hope that ended well.
