Have no idea why someone would build such an amazing deck in the middle on nowhere up an old logging road but I won't complain. The view is amazing.

Ahh you found the deck!!

Awesome eh?

Don't tell too many people and don't post any pics

I suspect he was inspired by the view and he had to build it.

I told Bayner we'd take him for a ride there when he visits from Penticton.

Did a little overnight camp trip last weekend with markymcd amongst others.

We decided to hit the Anderson Highline and go over Mission Pass. We figured it would be too early to come back on the Hurley...

Four GS's...all with MOD parts

There was a TE610 on the ride too but somehow it didn't make it into these pics (nice bike though!)

Stopping for a photo op about half way through. That's Anderson Lake down there.

Looking the other direction.

Crossing the bridge to a climb.

Over the pass looking down at Carpenter Lake.

Some beasts (the other beasts) scampered up the cliff when we came to them on the road.

Carpenter Lake...man are we lucky to have all this riding!!

Mission Pass on the way back. No snow anywhere except for a little bit at the side of the road at the pass. The Hurley? Maybe another few weeks?
Two of us went the same way back after going to Gun Creek and the others headed towards Lillooet.

Thanks for the great ride all! The weather held out too!

Dave

Ha...keen eyes!

Yes it's the second generation proto for Giant Loop's new panniers.

1. I've used one and seen all the other soft panniers and like all GL stuff, these bags (IMHO) nail it.
2. Fully waterproof, more stable than others, much tougher and some neat design/features.
3. If you're looking at soft panniers try to wait 'cause these are IT.

Like many great things they are already later than anticipated but they'll only be better because of it.

OK now we better keep it on the down low!

Dave

That's a good looking group in what I reckon to be one of planet's finest settings.
