I decided to go full Donkey

I ended up buying a used one that has all the extras, I thought I needed. I has its flaws, but I love it.
Picked it up in LA and brought it home (Silicon Valley) last night.

Exhaust sounds great not too loud:

Respect and waiting for the ride report

Miikka Greetings from Mongolia!

Especially practical info, visa, fuel, tires - what worked or went wrong...

I plan to write a short RR once the dust has settled. But I'm wayyy too busy this month.
In the meantime, more scenery from East:

Looks like an awesome trip Miikka. Can I ask what is that tiny aux light that I see in this photo?

I saw that...

Brown Motor Works... I am wondering if it will have enough power for a roadtrip when loaded with gear...(?)

With all of those light weight aluminum guards on there, Im sure it made up for the extra added weight of the other accessories!!

LOL

Just jokin, I have Had mine 2 up with 2 peoples backpacking gear for a several day trip, and still had plenty of room, and the bike still had plenty of power. It will still be faster than the majority of the cars on the road, and for sure faster than a KLR!!

There are people that think an XT225 has "enough" power, and it obviously does as people take that thing around the world!

It's a Chasecam bullet cam! Recorder is in the HPRC (black) box at the back.

If not - it will give me ample opportunity to enjoy the scenery. For now, I am still in the "my bike is awesome" mode
